Gingham Dress at the Beach!

One of summer’s most beloved styles is gingham, and I just can’t get enough of it! Worn in the right colors and silhouettes, this pattern can look refreshingly chic and glamorous. Usually when one thinks of gingham, the first thing that comes to mind is the classic black and white checkered design that has been seen all over the runways. However, today I am switching things up a little bit and decided to go with my all-time favorite color ever, PINK! I mean, what girl doesn’t love a pop of pink in their wardrobe?!
Not only is this midi dress elegant and flattering, but it is also so comfortable as well! The gingham dress that I am wearing is from the website SHEIN.com and only cost me $24. Yes, you read that right, ONLY $24! As you can see from the pictures above, the bag that I am carrying is pretty darn expensive, but that doesn’t mean your whole outfit has to be. Mixing high-end designer accessories (like this beautiful Dolce & Gabanna Straw Tote ) with fashion affordable items (like my chic gingham dress) is my secret weapon for every fashionista who’s on a budget. This recipe is something that I have lived by for years now. In my opinion, there is an art when it comes to mixing drastically different price points in fashion and it takes a great eye to make an outfit seem cohesive, styled, and chic when the pieces come from such different backgrounds.
Overall, a gingham dress is a staple for any girl who is looking to put together a classy wardrobe. This checkered pattern is forever timeless and will never go out of style. With everything on on in the world, we have been staying local and trying to head to the beach as much as possible.
